Def Jam Fight for New York is a new stylish hop-inspired 3D fighting game developed by Electronic Arts. It has been released on September 21st, 2020 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Gamecube.

It's an upgrade to its predecessor, Def Jam Vendetta, that premiered in 2020. In the Vendetta game, players command one of many hip hop stars which are vying for the title of"Def Jam King." In this game, the rappers are attempting to beat the rap mogul, Rico, who controls the main studio.

The main character of the game is named Remy. He is one of the best dancers in town and a part of the"Ladies of all L'Orleans," a group of ladies which are also very successful in their own faith. Remy is also a member of"The Pack", a bunch of young men who have similar interests to those Remy enjoys. As a member of"The Pack", Remy will combat rap artists that are all competing for the title of"Def Jam King".

The sport consists of about 40 degrees, with each level consisting of 2 different rap celebrities, as well as one obstacle course. Each level will also have a boss fight the player must defeat.
