Def Jam Fight for New York is a new hip hop-inspired 3D fighting game developed by Electronic Arts. It has been published on September 21st, 2020 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Gamecube.
It is an update to its predecessor, Def Jam Vendetta, which was released in 2020. From the Vendetta game, players command one of the many hip hop stars that are vying for the title of"Def Jam King." In this match, the rappers are attempting to beat the rap mogul, Rico, that controls the main studio.
The main character of this game is named Remy. He is among the best dancers in town and a member of the"Ladies of L'Orleans," a group of ladies which are also quite successful in their own faith. Remy can be a part of"The Pack", a bunch of young guys who have similar interests to the ones Remy enjoys. As a part of"The Pack", Remy will battle rap artists that are all competing for the title of"Def Jam King".
The game consists of about 40 degrees, with each level consisting of 2 distinct rap stars, and one obstacle program. Each level will also have a boss fight the player must conquer.
If you enjoy dancing games, you'll love this game. It's a lot of different music which will make you want to dance when you're playing with this game.
If you're a hip hop fan, you should definitely give this sport a go. There's not much of a learning curve to the sport, which is fantastic. In case you've played the previous edition, you are going to learn how to play with it without having to read any instruction guide.
The game has four phases to conquer. The first phase is a street battle between Remy and Rico. You'll have to use hip hop moves in order to defeat this fight. The next level is an alley fight, where you'll have to hit on rap artists to make them collapse.
The last level is a subway battle, and you'll need to hit on rap artists to create them def jam game fall on the paths below the street. There's also a boss battle at the end of the game, but it is not so hard. Difficult since you will have the ability to Dodge the bullets that will come from your opponent's rifle.
The graphics in the game are a bit on the boring side, but it can not be helped. The graphics and music are done nicely. They do not seem as great as they used to if the game was made for your Xbox. The music is very nice and seems like it's in real life.
